A better Explorer starts here
This release is the first step in our plan to reimagine the Stacks Explorer from the ground up. Since November, we’ve been working hard to bring you a host of performance improvements and a complete overhaul of the core elements, starting with the homepage, transactions list, header, and footer.

What’s new:
- A modern look and feel: The new visual design showcases the updated Stacks brand and brings a more polished, contemporary look to the entire Explorer that makes using it feel effortless.
- Improved user experience: We reimagined navigation and information architecture from a user-first perspective across the board, with major improvements to both block display and transactions in tables.
- Faster Performance Across Devices: The rebuilt pages load quickly and respond smoothly, providing a snappy, responsive experience whether you’re on mobile or desktop.
Built to scale
The new Explorer features modular and extensible architecture, ensuring forward-looking compatibility alongside the growth of the Stacks protocol. From new token standards to Bitcoin-native features, this architecture makes it easier to rapidly ship updates, adapt to changes, and support the community as the ecosystem evolves.
What’s next
You can explore the new homepage and transactions page today at explorer.hiro.so.
Next up: We’re working hard to bring you new contract, address, and transaction detail views, all getting the same design and performance treatment.
We’re rolling out updates incrementally to deliver improvements faster and collect feedback as we go. And we can’t wait to share what’s coming next.
Shaped by the community
From clearer transaction information to a more accessible homepage, every design choice in the new Explorer is rooted in real community feedback.
We’re so grateful for that input, and we want to keep hearing it! Your insights continue to guide our work and help us to build the best Explorer on Stacks, so please keep it coming: We’d love to hear what you think, what’s missing, and what we should tackle next. You can always reach us on Discord or GitHub.
