Let’s take a look at what we shipped in November and what Chainhooks 2.0 (Beta) unlocks for developers.
Chainhooks 2.0 (Beta)
A rearchitected system built for reliability, simplicity, and scale.
After extensive Alpha testing, Chainhooks 2.0 (Beta) is now available in limited-access Beta.
What’s new in Chainhooks 2.0 (Beta)
- Independent, scalable services with clean separation between filtering, evaluation, queuing, and delivery.
- RESTful API + typed JavaScript SDK for simple lifecycle management (create, update, enable/disable, replay evaluations, secret rotation).
- Deep observability with Platform dashboards, delivery metrics, status tracking, and streamlined creation flows.
- Fewer dependencies and no node management - just define your filter and start receiving webhooks.
- Stable performance under high worker counts with low CPU and memory usage.

Stacks Blockchain API
Essential support for Stacks 3.3
We released version 8.13.4 to support Clarity 4 transactions ahead of the Stacks 3.3 hard fork activation. This is a mandatory upgrade for all API operators to ensure uninterrupted service when the hard fork activates. This release also includes fixes for arm64 support regarding native encoding.

Documentation Refresh
Streamlined docs focused entirely on Hiro products.
We shipped a cleanup pass that:
- Added new Chainhook 2.0 (Beta) documentation with API and guides.
- Removed legacy Clarinet, Stacks.js, and Clarity language docs from the Hiro docs portal (with proper redirects now pointing to the updated resources at docs.stacks.co/reference).
- Polished the API playground and fixed a few bugs around interactive requests.
Looking Ahead to December
With Chainhooks 2.0 (Beta) live, December’s focus is on:
- Collecting feedback on real-world webhook delivery performance.
- Platform feature parity, including in-UI editing and secret management for v2 chainhooks.
- CLI development for local testing and replay workflows, as well as feature parity with the API/SDK.
